Like adults, young people (aged 16 or 17) are presumed to have sufficient capacity to decide on their own medical treatment, unless there's significant evidence to suggest otherwise.

If you wish to see a GP when your surgery is closed, don’t forget you can use the Out of Hours service — NHS 111. Alternatively, you can book an appointment in advance or on the day by calling your normal GP receptionist and requesting an appointment at one of our hubs.
