Opening Doors
Opening Doors runs a befriending service for LGBT+ people aged 50 and over who are feeling isolated.
In Southwark Opening Doors holds a social club on the last Thursday of the month. We have been visited by speakers from the V&A, Southwark Archives and Southwark LGBT+ Forum. Outings usually happen on the weekend. Recent trips have included the South London Gallery, Tate Modern and the Southwark Queer Arts Cabaret.
Please email or visit their website for further information.
Southwark LGBT+ Network
Southwark LGBT+ Network aims to build and strengthen LGBTQ+ communities in the borough to improve the quality of life of those who live, work, study or socialise here and reduce vulnerability to hate crime, harassment and discrimination.
